A graduate of Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Michael Thomas works as a neurosurgeon and neurosurgical spine specialist at Sea Spine Orthopedic Institute in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Michael Thomas belongs to several professional organizations, including the Congress of Neurosurgeons (CNS). He was a speaker at the 31st annual meeting held in conjunction with the CNS and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). This meeting took place in Phoenix, Arizona, from March 4 through 7, 2015.

With a theme of Neurosurgery: Advance, Adapt, Achieve, this meeting drew several thousand neurosurgeons and other medical professionals to network and share ideas. Attendees watched live surgery presentations, participated in interactive panel discussions, and explored hands-on practical courses. The 2017 conference, titled Transformation & Celebration, is scheduled for October 7 through 11 in Boston, Massachusetts.
